When a drive slot opens after a cancel
What you'll do
You will rebook from My drives when a time is free. DriversEdPro does not text a waitlist when someone cancels.
Cancel returns the slot
When a student cancels from Manage Drive (or staff cancel the drive), that instructor time can be booked again. Nobody at the desk has to rebuild the hour by hand.
Book it from My drives
Open My drives → Schedule Drive and choose instructor, date, and time. First student to complete Schedule Drive gets the slot. Parents cannot grab it from the parent portal.
There is no join waitlist button
If you were told to join a waitlist or wait for an open-slot text, that is not how the product works. Watch My drives, or ask the school to schedule you if Student scheduling is off.
Tip
If you need a specific day, check My drives that morning. Canceled lessons show up as open times on the same calendar.
