Set instructor availability
What you'll do
You will publish drive times on My Availability. School hours, student self-booking, and cancellation fines are school settings, not fields on this calendar.
Open My Availability
Instructors open My Availability in the instructor dashboard. Add half-hour slots on days the school is open. The calendar is for driving lessons, exam monitoring, and makeup monitoring. Assistants do not get this page.
Stay inside school hours
Open days, closed dates, and School timezone are on Admin Tools → School Settings → Hours & closures. Slots outside those hours will not be bookable. Overlap is limited by training cars the school has in service.
Turn student booking on or off
School Settings → Options → Student scheduling. When it is on, students book from My drives. When it is off, they see that the school schedules sessions, and staff book from the student profile.
Reserve a vehicle when you run the lesson
Vehicles are not permanently attached to an instructor's availability. On the drive, use Reserve vehicle before you complete the session. Add the fleet under Vehicle Fleet.
Tip
Publish fewer open hours than an instructor can actually work until you see how fast slots fill.
