GPS drive records
What you'll do
You will complete the drive in My Drives with location tracking on. Owners review routes under GPS Tracking. Essentials does not include this feature.
Know the plan gate
GPS Tracking in Admin Tools is available on Standard and Scale. It is not a School Settings switch you flip on Essentials.
Record the route during the lesson
The instructor opens the drive from My Drives, reserves a vehicle, and runs the session. Location tracking is on for that session. There is no separate Start GPS button, and instructors do not mark day or night by hand.
Review on GPS Tracking and Driving Hours
Owners open Admin Tools → GPS Tracking for routes. The student profile Driving Hours tab shows day and night totals from recorded drives.
Export for an audit
Admin Tools → State Compliance has Download CSV for drive sessions and related logs. That is the compliance export, not Issue Reports.
Tip
Tell families GPS is hour proof for the lesson, not a tracker after they get home.
