What is DriversEdPro?

One platform that runs the whole school

DriversEdPro is software for driver training schools. The classroom, the driving calendar, and the front office live in one system instead of a video app, a shared calendar, a card reader, and a spreadsheet that never quite agree.

The classroom

Teach live online, in person, or self-paced, with your own curriculum, quizzes, and passing rules. Attendance and grades record themselves.

The driving calendar

Students book behind-the-wheel lessons inside your availability, vehicles, and rules. Makeups, retakes, and no-show fines follow your policy.

The front office

Online enrollment, payment plans, balances, receipts, and SMS to students and parents, without the spreadsheet and sticky notes.

The four jobs

Teach. Schedule. Collect. Automate.

Every driving school does the same four jobs every day. DriversEdPro does them in one login.

Teach

A classroom that keeps its own records

Host live video classes or let students learn self-paced. Import the curriculum you already teach (slides, lessons, quizzes) and let the platform take attendance, grade, and log completions while you focus on teaching.

  • Live classes with built-in video, chat, and polls
  • Failed quizzes retaken in instructor-led makeup sessions
  • Progress visible to students, parents, and staff

Schedule

Behind-the-wheel booking without phone tag

Instructors publish availability once. Students book their own drives from what's open, with vehicles, locations, and lesson types respected automatically. Cancellations and makeups follow the policy you set.

  • Self-serve booking inside your rules
  • Vehicle and instructor conflicts prevented automatically
  • Every lesson leaves a drive record

Collect

Tuition collected on your terms

Take cards online through Stripe or QuickBooks, set up payment plans, or keep collecting cash and checks at the desk and just record it. Balances stay accurate either way, and receipts send themselves.

  • Card checkout, payment plans, and receipts
  • Pay-at-school mode for cash and check schools
  • Optional: unpaid balances block the next booking

Automate

The follow-ups you stopped having time for

Lesson reminders, class notifications, balance nudges, and certificate updates go out by SMS and email on their own. Parents stay informed without calling the office, and your staff stops repeating themselves.

  • Automatic lesson and class reminders
  • Two-way messaging with students and parents
  • School-wide announcements in one send

Why schools switch

There isn't another platform built like this

General scheduling tools don't understand drives, vehicles, or state records. Consumer driver-ed sites compete with your school instead of working for it. DriversEdPro was built for one customer: the driving school.

Payments talk to the calendar

Turn on balance locks and an unpaid student can't book the next drive. Invoice employers or take cash instead? Turn it off.

Priced per student, not per seat

No monthly subscription and no seat licenses. You pay per enrolled student, so a slow month costs you almost nothing.

Your curriculum, not ours

Consumer driver-ed sites sell a canned course. This is your school's platform: your lessons, your rules, your brand.

Parents see everything

Attendance, completed drives, quiz scores, and balances in a parent portal, without a single call to your office.

Built around vehicles

Fleet assignment, instructor pairing, and range-versus-road lesson types, not an afterthought bolted onto a class scheduler.

Real apps, not a mobile site

Students and instructors get native iOS and Android apps for lessons, booking, and messages.

Every program type

Not just driver's ed

If your school teaches people to drive something, the same classroom, calendar, and billing engine runs it, from a first permit to a Class A road test.

Teen driver education

Classroom hours, behind-the-wheel requirements, parent visibility, and completion certificates.

Adult & defensive driving

Short courses, court-referred defensive driving, refreshers, and reinstatement programs.

CDL & truck training

Range and road time, fleet vehicles, and employer-sponsored students who pay by invoice.

Motorcycle & specialty

Weekend safety courses and range sessions: high-volume cohorts that book fast and finish fast.

Pricing

Pricing that follows your enrollments

Every plan is $9.99 per student for your first year. No monthly subscription, no setup fee. Pass the fee to students at checkout or absorb it; your choice, per program.

  • A slow month costs you almost nothing
  • Card payments optional; pay-at-school always works

Common questions

What is DriversEdPro?

DriversEdPro is driving school software: one platform that runs your classroom (live, in-person, or self-paced), your behind-the-wheel scheduling, your tuition and payments, and your student and parent communication. Schools, instructors, students, and parents each get their own portal.

Do we have to take card payments through the platform?

No. You can take cards online through Stripe or QuickBooks, or keep collecting cash and checks at the school and simply record payments. Balance tracking, receipts, and optional booking locks work the same either way.

How much does it cost?

Every plan is $9.99 per student for your first year, then Essentials $14.99, Standard $19.99, or Scale $29.99 per student. There is no monthly school subscription and no setup fee, and you can pass the fee to students at checkout or absorb it.

Is it only for teen driver's ed?

No. The same platform runs adult and defensive driving courses, CDL and truck training with range and road time, and motorcycle safety programs. Vehicles, program lengths, and pricing are all configurable per program.

Do parents get access?

Yes. Parents get their own portal with attendance, completed drives, quiz results, balances, and notifications, so they stay informed without calling your office.

Can we use our own curriculum?

Yes. DriversEdPro is not a canned course. You import your own slides, lessons, and quizzes, set your own passing rules and retake policies, and teach under your school's brand.

How long does it take to switch?

Most schools are running within days. Guided onboarding is included: we help move your students, programs, and pricing in, and support is available around the clock.
