Parent accounts and the mobile app

4 minUpdated August 2026For parents, school owners, students

What you'll do

You will link a parent to their student using the parent code, and see what parents can do from the web portal and the iOS and Android app.

  1. Find the parent code

Every teen student has a parent code on their profile. The school can read it out at enrollment, or the student can share it from their own account.

  2. Create the parent account

The parent downloads the DriversEdPro app or opens the parent portal, creates an account, and enters the code. They are linked instantly and only see their own student.

  3. What parents see

Progress toward hours, upcoming classes and drives, quiz results, attendance warnings, and the current balance. Schedule changes and reminders reach them automatically.

  4. What parents can do

Pay balances and installments, get drive reminders, and message the school. What parents cannot do is edit records: their access is view and pay by design.

Tip

Schools that mention the parent app at enrollment cut front desk calls dramatically. Parents stop calling when they can already see.
