Set up your school on DriversEdPro

8 minUpdated August 2026For school owners

What you'll do

You will create your school account, configure the programs you sell, set your prices, and invite your instructors and office staff. Most schools finish this in under an hour.

  1. Create your school account

Book a demo or start from your invite email. You will pick your school name, upload a logo, and confirm your time zone. The time zone matters because every class, drive, and reminder is scheduled against it.

  2. Add your programs

Create one program per course you sell, for example Teen Drivers Ed, Adult Behind the Wheel, or Motorcycle Basic. For each program set the classroom hours, the number of drives, and the price. Teen programs can require parent accounts, adult programs can skip them.

  3. Set how you collect payments

Choose card payments through Stripe or QuickBooks, pay at school, or both. If you take cards, decide whether to pass the processing fee to families or absorb it. You can also create installment plans here.

  4. Invite instructors and staff

Add each instructor with their email. They get a login that only shows teaching tools: their schedule, their students, lesson logging. Add office staff as assistants and switch on exactly the permissions you want them to have.

  5. Open enrollment

Share your enrollment link or add your first student at the desk. From this point the record keeps itself: hours, drives, payments, and progress all update as your program runs.

Tip

Set programs and prices before inviting staff. Instructors see clean schedules on day one instead of a half configured school.
