No-show and late cancel fees

4 minUpdated August 2026For school owners, students, parents

What you'll do

You will set or read the cancellation cutoff, see what a late cancel does, and how a no-show fee posts to the student balance.

  1. Know the cutoff

Schools set how close to a lesson a student can cancel without a fee. Canceling before that window reopens the slot for someone else.

  2. Late cancel

After the cutoff, the school’s late policy applies automatically. The fee posts to the balance.

  3. No-show

If the student does not attend, the no-show fee posts the same way. Reminders exist so this happens less.
