Create quizzes and Study Center practice
What you'll do
You will use Assignments for graded class quizzes and Admin Study Center for flashcards and practice quizzes. Those are two different tools.
Create a graded quiz
Instructors open Assignments, then the Quizzes tab, then Create quiz. The quiz builder is meant for desktop. Attach the quiz to the class or students you teach.
Add Study Center practice
School admins open Admin Tools → Study Center. Tabs are Flashcards, Practice Quizzes, and Study Notes. Students study these from Study center, not from Assignments.
Set retake rules at the school
Failed class quizzes are retaken in Class makeups (quiz makeup), not as a self-serve dashboard quiz and not on the Monitoring page. Drive pass/fail is Fail drives (core lessons) under School settings. Practice scores in Study Center do not replace a graded class quiz.
Read results on the student
Graded quiz results show on the student record and in parent Exams. Practice scores show in Study Center / parent Study.
Tip
Keep permit practice in Study Center Practice test, and keep required class tests in Assignments → Quizzes.
