Attention monitoring in class
What you'll do
You will use the real setting names: Eye AI attention tracking for live class, and camera / face tracking for self-paced or makeup.
Live class: Eye AI
On Standard and Scale, live class can use Eye AI attention tracking. Instructors see Class attention while they teach. Students keep the class tab open and the camera allowed if the school requires it.
Self-paced camera rules
Self-paced days can require a camera and face tracking. Leaving the lesson or losing face time pauses verified seat time. Makeup sessions have their own camera monitoring settings.
What a warning means
If the school enabled tracking, looking away or leaving the class tab can log a warning and pause counting. Returning to the lesson resumes. This is not a separate phone-detection product switch.
Tip
Tell families at enrollment that verified minutes require the student on camera when the school turned that on.
