   Choose a processor

   Stripe, QuickBooks, or both. Pay at school stays available either way. Locks and plans work with all of them.

   Pass or absorb the fee

   Decide whether families see the processing fee at checkout or the school absorbs it. This is a school setting, not a per-student exception.

   Test one payment

   Run a small charge and a refund in the test student so staff see the same flow families will see.
